Bravecto 1-MONTH Chews are an oral chewable that kills adult fleas, prevents flea infestations, and treats and controls ticks (Black-legged tick, Asian longhorned tick, American dog tick, and Brown dog tick) for 1 MONTH in dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older (weighing 4.4 lbs or greater). Bravecto 1-MONTH Chews also treats and controls Lone Star ticks for 1 MONTH in dogs and puppies 6 months of age and older (weighing 4.4 lbs or greater).

Side Effects

Bravecto 1-MONTH Chews are generally well tolerated in dogs when given at the usual dose and with food.  There are very few side effects when the drug is given a the usual dose.  The following side effects have been reported with the use of Bravecto 1-MONTH Chews: vomiting, decreased appetite, diarrhea, lethargy, polydipsia, and flatulence. 

Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures.

Other side effects may occur. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.

Cautions

Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures. Seizures have been reported in dogs receiving the active ingredient fluralaner, even in dogs without a history of seizures.

Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication you are giving to your pet. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, even if a drug interaction may occur. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and/or monitor your pet more closely.

Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together.

Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform VetSource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching.
