Ruffwear quality but...

Too cumbersome to use. I own both the front range & webmaster harnesses, both are easy to use & have sturdy construction. I was hoping to use the doubleback for extra support when lifting my ~66 lb dog who had acl surgery, also having the option of offering rear leg support if needed (have read reviews of others using if for such). Obviously the harness is intended for climbing and I can't speak to that. In terms of an everyday harness I found it too cumbersome to use (getting it on and off, adjusting, etc), very time consuming. The neck area would shift in a way that made it tight around neck eliminating option of 24/7 wear to avoid daily application/adjustments. The hind leg straps are hard to adjust (ride into the privates) or are too loose (so when used to lift there's too much give). I will say that the quality is good/sturdy, hardware seems reliable just not ideal for what my needs were (and isn't advertised for) that's reason for 3/5, might be 5/5 for climber dogs
