Works well on Lupus

My beagle has lupus and this has helped heal her nose and protect it from the harsh Utah sun. It's the only thing that has worked for her.

I bought this item because my Boxer does not like sprays and this I can rub directly on her face and exposed skin,white Boxers are prone to sunburns and I want her protected from the Suns harmful rays.

Easy to use and provides great protection for Mac.

I came across the My Dog Nose It Sunscreen while looking for goodies on Baxterboo. We go down to the beach a lot and Mac wears his goggles to protect his eyes. We never thought to protect his nose and ears until now. It's one of those things that you don't think about until you actually come across a product for it. I was afraid that the "balm" would be too thick and greasy. Not at all. It's like chapstick but thinner. I had no problem applying it on Mac's nose and the inside of his ears. We set out to test it out down at the beach and when we came home, the inside of his ears did not glow red so that meant that it did it's job. I'm glad Baxterboo carries this product. I got the smaller jar. A little goes a long way. Remember, dogs can get cancer and sunburn too! Thanks Baxterboo!

Easy to use salve

I haven't given skin cancer on any animal much thought (never heard of it), but was looking for something to use on the dogs to keep noses, etc. hydrated in summer or any extra dry time. I didn't think a petroleum based product would be good on any area where licking was likely. Vegetable oil seemed too greasy, including the solid form. So we are giving this one a whirl. So far, the consistency is nice and the dogs wear it well, even with the occasional lick. Seems to be fragrance free but honestly I cannot comment on it's ability to stop skin cancer. I will use this daily.
