I just shake off the excess water when it's wet and hang it to dry. They wash and dry well in the dryer without shrinking or pilling. This is the best dog coat ever. And the variety of sizes fits every pup from his min pin brother, to his Great Dane buddy. He even wants to sleep in them. He hates to take them off. We had to buy several so he has a couple changes of clothes. So nice to find clothes for a broad chested large breed.
