On his routine letter-carrying route, postal worker George Knapp, received an odd (and living) piece of mail. Knapp found a young 2lb kitten sitting inside a public post box in Boston, along with the regular letters and boxes. After being checked out by the MSPCA, it was determined that the kitten was probably stuffed into the mailbox through the small opening.

The postal worker decided that this special delivery must have been fate, so he adopted the kitten and named her, P.D., short for Postage Due. No word yet if the kitten's postage was ever paid, or if any letters or parcels were "damaged" by the temporary-resident post box pussycat.

We are all so innocent and vulnerable in our sleep...and it seems to have a calming effect when you watch people or animals fall asleep. I thought I would only look for a minute or two, but I got sucked into these videos of Cute Things Falling Asleep for awhile. There are hundreds of videos on the website, but here is my favorite sleepy puppy video and sleepy kitten video. Notice the ratings of cuteness and sleepiness on the site, very clever.

No, this isn't kitten cruelty, it's a silly little video about adorable kittens playing a the classic arcade game! It has been awhile, but I don't remember any of the moles getting loose toward the end of my turn.

This adorable two-faced kitten was born in Australia yesterda. Such a thing is not unheard of. What is amazing, however, is that the kitten appears to be completely healthy. It only eats out of one mouth, but it's actually eating. Most kittens born with this uncommon disorder are unable to eat and die within a day or two. This little guy is able to eat, drink, purr and meow, just like a regular kitten. Hit the jump for more pics.
