The earthquake that rocked Haiti on January 12 killed, injured and displaced millions of people...and animals. There have been fundraisers galore, telethons and rescue teams headed there to lend a hand. As we are all concerned with saving human lives, there are a lot of us also concerned with the well-being of the animals and pets. The Haitian people and animals need all the help they can get right now. We've heard from some concerned people, wanting to help the pets that have been affected by the awful earthquake(s) in Haiti. Personally, my life wouldn't be as full. I have humans in my life to give me love and affection, but you have to agree, dogs provide something a little different. I was raised with dogs, and I can't picture life any other way. |
