It's never too early to start thinking about what man's best friend will wear for Halloween this year. To aide you in your decision, here's a list of our 10 Most Popular Dog Costumes.

It turns out this little Smokey was not of the edible appetizer variety.
The little Smokey I'm talking about is a 12-week-old Chihuahua puppy that was unfortunately in the wrong place at the wrong time. While Smokey's owner, Hughie Wagers, was barbecuing, an oversized BBQ fork snapped in half and the prong end landed in Smokey's head. Scared and startled, Smokey fled to the nearby wooded area before anyone could catch him.
After two days of searching for poor little Smokey, owner Hughie, found him whimpering in some undergrowth by his Kentucky house. Hughie was shocked to find the BBQ fork still lodged in Smokey's head.
Little Smokey's x-ray revealed that the fork was lodged deep in his brain, and the doctors were not sure if he'd survive once the prongs were removed. After a successful surgery though, Smokey made a full recovery, only losing some muscle control in his right eyelid.
The lesson: If you name your dog after a yummy appetizer, keep an eye on him around the BBQ.
I am only kidding of course. If this dog were not ok today, I would not be joking. Just be careful when barbecuing and maybe invest in some quality utensils!
Now here's is a different approach to getting your dog to exercise! It's pretty impressive if you ask me...
