Wouldn't you just love to see this smiling little face everyday? This animal is called a Slow Loris, it should have made it on to our Most Unusual Animals to Have as Pets List! He is just too adorable!

Every single day there are hundreds of articles about dogs dying after being left in a car during record high summer months. It's disgusting, but this one just makes me so mad because it could and should have been prevented.

I woke up this morning to my dog's big black wet nose right between my eyes. Once he saw my eyes open, he ran around the bedroom and started whining and making funny noises. I sat up, trying to figure out why he was so awake and so happy (usually I wake him up). Then he stopped, stared at me, and proclaimed loudly, "Today is National Dog Day!"

In search of dog friendly recipes, I was pleased to find so many mouthwatering (to my dog) recipes that involve my dog's favorite activi-toy... the KONG. Delicious delights for dogs, using what you probably already have in the kitchen. The best thing about stuffing a KONG with tasty treats is that it becomes an activity for your pup and can keep him occupied for hours! Here are a few of the favorite recipes that my dog and I have tested out so far.
