Check out this amazing video from Chile where a dog saves another dog by dragging him off of a busy highway. The whole thing was caught on tape, and is amazing. The first dog gets hit by an oncoming car, and the next moment another dog drags him out of traffic.

This is about the most heroic real-life rescue I have ever seen, and it was completely unscripted, unstaged and perfectly reflects the loyalty that man's best friend is capable of. Dogs have saved countless human lives in life-or-death situations, but we often just think that's the result of training and the dogs being led by their masters in emergency situations. Here, a dog takes his own initiative and saves another dog's life. No trainers. No EMS crews. Both dogs completely off-leash.

Simply amazing.
