All of you, alright most of you, enjoy the warmth and sweetness of a small living, breathing creature sleeping peacefully in your lap. There’s something somewhat magical to think that such a tiny being will stay that petite size. And it is comforting to know that you are responsible for protecting that furry little thing. Time seems to freeze. When they wake up, their tiny faces light up when they realize you stayed put so as not to disturb their slumber. Then, as if in one fluid motion, they leap at your face and smother you with wet kisses. It’s amazing that those tiny tongues can carry as much slobbery goodness as a large bull dog. A moment like this is one joy among the many, of a lap dog.
