Though we haven’t witnessed a pilot show with our own eyes or wet noses yet (no one has actually, it is still in the works), I think a sitcom based on the famous Dog Whisperer, could be quite entertaining.
Better yet, Wilmer Valderrama has agreed to play the famous dog trainer’s character for the upcoming Fox family sitcom. No word yet when the show will appear in our living rooms or whether it will actually star Cesar at all, but we do know the show is about a man who makes an empire with unique dog training skills, just like Cesar.
Valderrama seems to be a reasonable fit for the part of Cesar. Having been a devoted That '70s Show and Dog Whisperer fan, I think they look strikingly similar and have a similar sense of humor (what I’ve seen on screen, that is). Valderrama is most well known for his long stint on That '70s Show as the lovable-and-clueless foreign exchange student, Fez. And of course we all know Cesar Millan, the Dog Whisperer. If you don’t, you need to get a TV and watch his show. What he does for dogs and their owners is simple, yet genius, and I think everyone can learn a thing or two from him. I could go on, but I will save the “I Love the Dog Whisperer Fan Club” talk for another day.
Hopefully it doesn't turn into a Fox flop. We’ll keep you updated as we get more information about the show. Do you think a Dog Whisperer-based sitcom will be a hit or a miss?
