Hang on to those stuffed animal Taco Bell dogs that came in way too many costumes for way to many years. Those might be collector's items now.

She made her way into America's hearts, swooning us with the words "Yo Quiero Taco Bell," and weirdly enough we all still wanted to eat at the mystery meat fast food chain, even though a dog was representing it. Sadly, the "Taco Bell Dog", real name Gidget, died Tuesday. Gidget was 15-years-old and died after suffering a fatal stroke. She had quite the career, starring in the ever-so-famous "Yo Quiero Taco Bell!" ad campaigns, then moving to the big screen, playing Bruiser's mom in Legally Blonde 2, alongside ditsy-blonde-turned-Harvard-smarty Reece Witherspoon.

The pup apparently loved to go hiking, sun her fur, and sleep when she wasn't acting. I guess after 15 years of living like a queen, Gidget yo quiero-ed Doggie Heaven more.

Gidget's legacy will live on in the heads and hearts of taco-lovin' fans and forever in the 90s Edition of Trivial Pursuit.
