Length
Measure from the base of the tail (where it connects to the hindquarters) up to where the collar typically sits at the base of the neck, then follow up with a generous back scratch.
Chest
This is measured by giving your pet a
hug, during which you measure the entire circumference (all the way around) at the widest point of your pet's chest. This is typically right behind the front legs.
Neck
First, plenty of kisses. Then, measure the neck's circumference
(the distance around it) at the point where the collar sits.

Mattie, our little Yorkie rescue dog, graduated from training school wearing BaxterBoo graduation cap! She is so precious and we are all so proud of her progress!
At 8 weeks of age, Mattie was surrendered to a shelter, 2 lbs and unresponsive, due to a liver shunt disorder. She was saved by a Yorkie Rescue, stabilized and driven from Indiana to Pennsylvania for successful liver surgery. Now, at 10 months, Mattie is a 9 pound, normal puppy and has just completed 8 weeks of intensive on-leash and off-leash training...what a courageous little fighter, a testament to all who have helped to bring Mattie through her early health crisis to become a happy, healthy little Yorkie!
