The Ultra Paws® Rugged Dog Boot is made with dense, water resistant but breathable nylon material and wrapped with a recycled tire material. This boot lives up to its name because it provides protection from most conditions - plus they'll stay on your dogs feet. Easy to put on - difficult to slip off. Side seams expand - making it easy to put on the boot. Two Velcro® straps with slides fasten the boots closed. Foam at the closure cushions the dog's foot when the boot is tightened. The foam creates a secure grip - these boots stay on! Tough, water resistant 1000 denier nylon material with the top of the toe wrapped in Toughtek®. The sole is Reprotek®, a recycled tire material that is flexible, skid resistant and durable. The Rugged Reprotek® sole is up to 1.2 mm thick. Reprotek® performs in wet and dry, hot and cold conditions. The Rugged sole is less pliable and suited for tougher conditions. To wash: Loosely fasten Velcro closure, wash in cold water delicate cycle; hang to air dry. Four boots per package. Proper footwear fit is essential to a fun day out (or in). Here's how to measure your pet's paws...
Length
With your pet's paw on the ground, measure from the tip of the claws (those have to fit inside the shoe too) to the back of where the paw touches the ground, which is just behind the pad.
Width
While your pet's paw is still on the ground, measure from side to side at the widest point of your pet's paw, which is usually near the base of the toes.
Handy Tip: Try having your pet step on a piece of paper, then trace around the paw. Then, while your pet is off eating your houseplants or terrorizing the neighborhood, you can measure the traced outline in peace.
