Between Daylight Savings and this gloomy weather looming over Denver, I am sticking to my Mute Monday mood, but before it fully takes over, I wanted to make sure you had a fun video to watch on Monday morning (Mondays can be rough). Around here, I seem to be the only one that thinks this is hilarious; the others are only mildy amused, and now I question their senses of humor. But seriously, use the little button to enlarge it to full screen and it looks like the monkeys are trying to get out of your computer. Maybe if you let them out they will do all your work for you...just a thought.
Happy Monday!

I have to apologize...I have been a bit neglectful lately with the
blog, but for good reason. I have been slaving away in my doghouse,
adding TONS of new products (like dog clothes, MLB jerseys and dog toys).
I'm not even close to done yet, but I wanted to share an email that I received from a friend today. The story may or may not be true, it's hard to
tell with forwarded forwards of a forward, you know. Anywhoo, the
story, though sad, made me smile and realize that this six-year-old has
it all figured out...

This video provides a whole new meaning to the term "bird's eye view". This clip from BBC Worldwide takes you on board with the world's fastest bird, the Peregrine Falcon, and shows you what it sees and how it moves. You also see what it's like to fly through a forest and amazing speeds with the bird's eye view camera on a Gos Hawk. If you get motion sickness, you might want to skip this one...but trust us, it's cool!

I watched Mine last week and got more than I'd expected. I
expected the independent film to be a one-sided, tell-me-what-to-think
story about Katrina-surviving dogs, but once the movie was over, I was
left thinking (crazy huh!?). The film did a great job at showing the
saddening devastation of Hurricane Katrina on the dogs and people of
New Orleans, but it also did a great job at showcasing the other side
of the story for these dogs...finding homes again.

Might want to grab a tissue when you watch this video. Ricochet was training since the day he was born to be a service dog. That didn't go as planned, but he ended up being an example dog by providing for people in unconventional ways. It's truly a touching story!

It's Mute Monday, meaning I am one of few words today...so, enjoy these
mindless videos of cats and dogs enjoying bathtime. Judging from these
videos, it isn't always true what they say about cats (and dogs) hating
baths.

We're here on the campaign tail, that's right tail not trail (unless
you know of a good off-leash trail around here). Anyway, here in this
small laid-back town called Divide, Colorado, things are heating up as
the mayoral race is underway. Votes are coming in online and ballots
are being counted. You can hear the faint panting and purrs as the
candidates patiently wait for the results. Who will be the next Mayor
of Divide, a Dogocrat or Repblicat? Only the public can decide...
