Okay, it's an old joke. And this isn't really a bar, but these guys all seem to be hanging out as friends on the porch, like they could be having a barbecue or something. This is up in Alaska, so the weather may not be exactly conducive to barbecuing, but that doesn't seem to be stopping these guys from socializing. I'm actually going to be headed up to Alaska in a couple of weeks! Apparently, these are well fed critters. The woman who shoots these videos apparently puts out scraps of food for the stray cat, and the other animals have figured it out. This has been going on for years. No one has been rude enough to disrupt dinner by dining on another guest. In case you think this is fabricated, here is another link where this lady's guests interact again on a recent news feature: http://news.yahoo.com/video/woman-films-interesting-encounter-wild-193000048.html Kim on July 29 at 6:28 PM said:
They really need to clean that dump up. You see the nail sticking up out of the pc of wood? Along with the rest of the junk! The poor Fox looks like he's starving. They all probably are. This isn't cute to me at all. Its sad!! Mary on July 30 at 7:25 AM said:
Yes, Kim. This is Alaska, not the burbs with manicured lawns. That's precisely why this scene is unusual, because these are wild animals. The people are pretty independent and gritty as well. A nail is the least of the worries up there. If they were going to be tripped up by a nail, they would have died by now. What do you think?
