DOGNY: A Helping Hand That Rose Through the Ashes of 9/11

0

As much as we love rescue groups, we didn't think our love could grow any bigger for the work that they do. However, after watching this video, it is clear that our love has grown even more!

The American Kennel Club created a fund called DOGNY, also known as "America's Tribute to Search and Rescue Dogs." It's a charitable fund set up to support professional and volunteer canine search and rescue organizations throughout the United States. Started in the wake of September 11, 2011, DOGNY was able to provide assistance to the search and rescue dogs and their handlers at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Shanksvill, PA.

This fund made it possible for the dogs and their handlers to survive and continue their fight to save others. Words can't express our gratitude for such a fund.
