Feline Fridays: Circus Cats!

0
Dear Gentle Readers,

It's the 12th Day of Dogtober... I can't hardly even choke out that word, it's so overdone! So I'm renaming it Catober! It is Feline Friday, after all!

I do, however, approve of today's Circus theme. The reason for that is that there are simply dozens of videos of cats in circuses that I'm dying to show you! And not just my big cat cousins either.

It has been said that you can't teach cats tricks, and that is simply not true. People underestimate us cats all the time. But we are very smart, and make better acrobats than dogs because we are more agile. You aren't going to see a dog climbing a pole or jumping from the heights that a cat can. But if you take the time to invest us as well as a good clicker and a food reward, (because we are smart enough not to work for free) you will be amazed at what we are able to do!

In other countries, it is quite common to see cats in shows, especially in Moscow and Berlin. There are a few American acts as well, such as the the Amazing Acro-Cats. I want to share with you a video from the Acro-Cats founder, because she has an important message about how she trains cats to save lives. It's compelling.

And finally, here is a cute video of circus cats from Moscow.

Thanks for your time, cat fans!

Ms. Bella Boo
