Introducing the Newest Obama, Sunny

3

First Dog, Bo, has new presidential obligations. In addition to supervising his dad on official business, Bo now has the role of big brother (and not in the creepy Orwellian style.) No, Bo gets to teach his new little sister the ropes for what it takes to be a presidential pooch.

The new youngster is also a Portuguese Water Dog, a good choice for the allergy sufferers in the family. The Obamas decided to call her Sunny because of her cheerful, playful personality. Sunny appears to be solid black, unlike Bo, who has a white chest and front paws. Sunny was born in 2012 in Michigan and appears to be a solution to concerns the First Lady expressed last fall over the fact that "Bo doesn't have enough dog interaction."

The two dogs already seem to be getting along quite well, as seen on this official White House video:

For those who might be getting their tails in a knot over the fact that the Obamas didn't adopt a rescue puppy, they have made a donation in Sunny's name to the Washington Humane Society.

Any ideas for what Sunny's unofficial title might be since big bro Bo is already considered "First Dog?"

I think she should be "first lady dog" to go with "first dog"

Bo has been fixed, so there is no scandal in this regard.
