At the start of a new year, you always start thinking about your life, goals and accomplishments. It's a fresh start and a good time to put your ducks in a row. Personally, I don't like to get too much into setting New Year's resolutions because those are usually made to be broken. Instead, I like to create a "goal list" of sorts, like a "to do this year" list, and keep it handy throughout the year. This year, after I put together my list of goals (some super ambitious, some not so much), I sat down with my dog and we put together a Goal List for him.

Annabelle here - I've confiscated Mom's computer My Goals more treats (mom says I'm getting porky so she cut back) I'd like a pool also for those hot summer days. More trips in the Van to places I can go, like Lowes and Petsmart, I don't understand why I can't go to the grocery store, I ride in a buggy very nicely. A sister would be nice, gets kinda lonely being the only 4 paw person in the house. I get tons of Love so i dont need to ask for more of that. I have everyone who knows me well trained to handing out treats and lots of hugs, back rubs and telling me I'm so sweet. I have to say, I've got a good life, my mommy and daddy love me very much and give me lots of attention and play with me, buy me toys (people say our living room looks like a toy store, guess mommy feels bad going out and leaving me so she brings me a new toy from the store) I can sleep wherever I want on whatever I want and I have my own doggie door to the screen room and another that goes down to my huge fenced in yard where I can run and play or just lay around Life is good at my house :) UBER - just jump up on the bed, you're a big guy and if you go into that doggie deadweight mode, they won't be able to move you - it works for me :o) xoxo Annabelle Carrie on January 14 at 5:09 AM said:
I just love this website! I love looking at everyone's pictures of their little (and somtimes big!) ones. It is so nice to see that I am not the only one that thinks of my dog the way I do! After all, Squirt(my little man) is who I spend most of my time with. I think he knows me better than anyone! And people wonder why I talk about him the way I do! I thought it was really cool to be able to post his picture on Baxter Boo's site so I could tell my friends and family that he was a star! lol Hope you will all enjoy looking at Squirt's pictures (from Punxsutawney, PA) as well! By the way, Squirt's 2011 goals are: -Going for more walks to show of to the other dogs. -More toys(his 2 he got for Christmas was the first he ever had, and wasn't sure what to do with them at first) -Be allowed to chase that dirty cat that sits outside taunting him when he is in. -Definitely go for more car rides. -Go swimming this summer in grandma's pool. -Meet some new dogs to sniff! Should be a fun year! Carrie and Squirt What do you think?
