The unique design of this patented toy allows dogs to see, smell, and hear the treats or kibble as they roll around in the jug. The Tug-a-Jug not only dispenses treats, it can also be used for obedience training and as a slow feeder for mealtime.

To use, twist off the bottom lid of the Tug-A-Jug. Load with treats or kibble, and then replace the lid. As dogs play with the Tug-A-Jug, treats will randomly come out through the opening at the top of the jug. The rope acts as a barrier to meter the amount of food that is dispensed.

Fantastic

Fill this with small treats, and watch your dog play with it for hours on it. It's a true brain game: They have to sort of push the rope in before tossing the jug around to get the treats out. It takes a good while for them to get them all! My food-motivated girl loves this one. One thing to watch out for: if you have a chewer, make sure they don't chew the rope in half! Mine did this with her first one when I wasn't watching, so I had to buy a new one since the challenge was no longer there.

Great for dogs who've figured out all the other treat puzzles!

This is a very different treat puzzle, and it took my dog a good 15 minutes to figure out how to get the kibble out, which is a long time, considering he usually figures out any treat puzzle within seconds. It may be too challenging for dogs who are not overly food motivated, but for my treat seeking hound, it worked out great! My only complaint is that it's a little difficult to clean, with the rubber bit at the top and the rope.
