Purchased this jacket last fall for my 70 pound yellow lab. Now February of a very cold winter up here in New Hampshire, Waited until it was thoroughly tested before submitting a review. Hiked 9 miles yesterday to one of the higher NH Mtns. 0 Deg F when we started and 12 deg when finished and he wore the coat the whole time as well as many times before. No sign of any chills. The coat works really well, completely covers his entire core with no interference for running and nature calls. Used the sizing chart to order it and it fits perfectly. Very easy to put on. I have some minor complaints, the buckles slip, they won't stay tight, allowing the bottom piece to slide up and get loose. I had to make a final adjustment then pass the straps back through the buckles again, no slipping now and the coat stays perfectly in place. I wish the outer nylon layer was tougher (cordura), he's wild in the woods and has a small but easily reparable tear. I would buy this coat it again.

This is my first purchase from Baxter Boo. It is also the most I have invested in dog clothing in my life. Both firsts have proved exceptional! The service is amazing, I used Priority at a time when UPS is inept and I received the jacket within two days. The online customer service rep was fast and right on with her sizing. The jacket is like the Rossignol of dog jackets, my older arthritic Pitty freaks when I try to put his legs into anything, but the wrap fit of this coat is perfect for him. The snap belt closure allowed an exact fit and I can easily go without the back elastics. Extremely well made, close fitting and WARM! And to top it off when I went back in to buy one for my little dog I had accrued a 10.00 credit from the first purchase! ( you get 1 pt for every dollar plus I apparently got a new customer credit) I wish every store was as exceptional as this. THANK YOU. (and NO I do NOT work for these guys)

I purchased this jacket for my little Brussels Griffon. While it keeps her warm, the straps that hold the jacket on her body are very strange, and resemble ones you'd find on a life vest. I ended up cutting them off, and replacing them with velcro. Much better.
