main image

Feline fans rejoice! Announcing the Second Annual Internet Cat Video Festival 2013! This year's event is scheduled at the Great Minnesota Get-Together: the State Fair Grandstand on August 28, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are just $10 and will conclude with a bonus fireworks celebration.

Last year's first-ever Internet Cat Video Festival was hosted by the Walker Art Center in an effort to bring online communities together in the real world. Though just a modest attempt, the #catvidfest became a surprise viral phenomenon and drew more than 10,000 attendees to the event at Walker's Open Field. Soon "copy-cat" festivals were spawned around the country in cities including Vienna, Portland, Oakland and more.

Still not sure what all the fuss is about? Watch the video that captured the spirit of the festival from last year:

This year's event will showcase new videos and provide special appearances from celebricats like Grumpy Cat, and Lil Bub. live music, vendor and nonprofit booths, art displays and more.
