Fame at the Westminster Dog Show

main image

Meet Mitch

Mitch, a 5-year-old yellow Labrador retriever is a new contender at America's top dog show in New York.  Although new to the show, he is not new to New York or it's fame; his co-owner is New York Yankees President Randy Levine.

Mitch is not the first New York Yankee dog to hit the dog shows.  Lou Gehrig, Mike Mussina, and Jacob Ruppert are another few guys that have sent their dogs into the dog shows to strut their stuff.

But wish Mitch good luck, he is amoung 54 Labs in the New York show.  Labradors are amoung the country's most popular dogs, but have never won at the Westminster show.
