Kangaroo Dogs

main image

No, this isn't some doctored photo to make dogs look like kangaroos, these mutts are just really close to being marsupials. They aren't a new hybrid breed or fancy boutique dog, they were actually born without arms, therefore they learned to walk, or hop rather, on their hind legs, much like kangaroos. This unique pair, named Cute and Bambi, belong to street vendor Lope Tulipas of Quezon City, Philippines. Lope has turned down many offers to buy the odd dogs, he just loves them for who they are (and aren't they adorable?!).

I did find out though that there is a type of dog called a Kangaroo Dog, but it has four legs and instead of acting like a kangaroo, the breed is known for hutning them. Eeks.
