Paw-casso Pup Paints for Good Cause

main image

Arbor was adopted by Bryce and Jennifer Henderson after an animal rescue found her wandering the streets of Las Vegas. The couple had no idea they were adopting an artist.

She was obviously a clever dog, and her adoptive mom encouraged her to pick up a brush and try painting when she needed a new challenge. With lots of positive reinforcement, Arbor was soon painting with joy and skill and placing the brushstrokes in beautiful patterns.

They sell her paintings on e-bay with 100% of the net proceeds benefitting animals in need. Her highest earning painting sold for $453!

Arbor is a candidate for the American Humane Association Hero Dog Awards in the emerging dog hero category. You can vote for her once daily through July 30, 2012.
