Stop fretting about your leg lifter with this innovative Camouflage Dog Belly Band by Doggie Design.
Why We Love It:
The folks who really know dogs, Doggie Design, have created a brand new style of belly bands with style, comfort and functionality in mind.
Unlike some manner bands that simply wrap flat against dogs, Doggie Design's version features an exclusive "P-Pocket" pouch (pun probably intended) that conforms to your dog's shape. This means that everything will stay where it needs to and won't shift around.
The design features a soft, breathable cotton material that washes and dries well. The band fastens at the top with a wide strip of high-strength Velcro that lasts wash after wash. The pouch is also lined with a soft terrycloth material for absorbency and comfort.
We suggest inserting a panty liner or sanitary napkin cut to size for maximum moisture protection.
This belly band is great for intact males when there is a female dog in season in the area. Not only will the belly band foil marking attempts -- it also provides a tiny bit of insurance against unwanted pregnancies, but supervision is still a must!
Others that might benefit from having belly bands are people visiting friends who want to be assured that their dog will be on his best behavior. A must for traveling and staying at inns!
Are you a foster parent? Now you don't have to worry if your temporary charge has learned his house manners or not. Belly bands can also be a housebreaking tool to help dogs know where the appropriate area to go is.
Senior dogs suffering from light incontinence are also good candidates for these belly bands. Have several on hand to cycle through the laundry as needed.
To apply, insert an optional sanitary napkin (cut to size) in the pocket area. Next, settle the pouch over the appropriate area, making sure it's secure. Wrap the cloth around your dog's abdomen and secure with the Velcro.
