How To Measure Your Dog's Paws!
Proper footwear fit is essential to a fun day out (or in). Here's how to measure your pet's paws...
With your pet's paw on the ground, measure from the tip of the claws (those have to fit inside the shoe too) to the back of where the paw touches the ground, which is just behind the pad.
While your pet's paw is still on the ground, measure from side to side at the widest point of your pet's paw, which is usually near the base of the toes.
Handy Tip: Try having your pet step on a piece of paper, then trace around the paw. Then, while your pet is off eating your houseplants or terrorizing the neighborhood, you can measure the traced outline in peace.
How To Measure Your Dog!
I have worked with the finest furry tailors in the world, and am here to share my bounty of knowledge. Here's how to measure your pet...
Measure from the base of the tail (where it connects to the hindquarters) up to where the collar typically sits at the base of the neck, then follow up with a generous back scratch.
This is measured by giving your pet a
hug, during which you measure the entire circumference (all the way around) at the widest point of your pet's chest. This is typically right behind the front legs.
First, plenty of kisses. Then, measure the neck's circumference
(the distance around it) at the point where the collar sits.
Important Sizing Note: The given measurements are the dimensions of the actual product, not of the pet they fit. After measuring your pet, make sure all measurements fit within the following dimensions (with a little room to spare in the chest and neck).

This harness is well made and fully adjustable. Once fitted it's super easy on and off. Definitely will last a lifetime for numerous dogs. I bought two, one for a little devil that has managed to slip out of every other harness I've tried. So far so good with this one. I only have two complaints; the straps on the medium are really wide, thick and stiff for dogs weighing only 30 pounds. I couldn't go with the small due to their chest measurement of 23". The chest plate was not what I expected, it's hard. I'm hoping overtime it will conform to the dog thus becoming more comfortable. It described as EVA Foam chest plate molds to chest for a comfortable fit. Foam to me has give to it, still I highly recommend this harness especially for an escape artist!

This is absolutely one of the best harnesses that I have found. It is sure to keep your pet safe while walking and encountering stressful situations. In the past I have purchased fashion harnesses and when scared my baby has slid out of the harness causing stress for both of us. This harness goes on and off easily. It is well made and I have peace of mind that my baby will not escape. The chest plate keeps her from injury as well. Excellent product! I also recommend the multi use leashes by EZ-Dog.
My dog loves this harness so much that she walks right in to it a quick clip and ready to walk.

This has been the first thing my dog respects and has stopped embarrassingly pulling me. We both like it very much.

I just got this harness for my 7-month old French Bulldog puppy, and I love it. The chest plate is made of semi-soft foam that conforms to the dog's body over time -- it's great for dogs that have large/hard to fit chests. My Frenchie loves the harness so far, as it puts no pressure on his throat and doesn't rub under his arms. Harness is sturdy and feels very durable -- metal D-ring is thick and high quality. Definitely great quality for only $25~.
