How To Measure Your Dog's Paws!
Proper footwear fit is essential to a fun day out (or in). Here's how to measure your pet's paws...
With your pet's paw on the ground, measure from the tip of the claws (those have to fit inside the shoe too) to the back of where the paw touches the ground, which is just behind the pad.
While your pet's paw is still on the ground, measure from side to side at the widest point of your pet's paw, which is usually near the base of the toes.
Handy Tip: Try having your pet step on a piece of paper, then trace around the paw. Then, while your pet is off eating your houseplants or terrorizing the neighborhood, you can measure the traced outline in peace.
How To Measure Your Dog!
I have worked with the finest furry tailors in the world, and am here to share my bounty of knowledge. Here's how to measure your pet...
Measure from the base of the tail (where it connects to the hindquarters) up to where the collar typically sits at the base of the neck, then follow up with a generous back scratch.
This is measured by giving your pet a
hug, during which you measure the entire circumference (all the way around) at the widest point of your pet's chest. This is typically right behind the front legs.
First, plenty of kisses. Then, measure the neck's circumference
(the distance around it) at the point where the collar sits.

This harness is well made and fully adjustable. Once fitted it's super easy on and off. Definitely will last a lifetime for numerous dogs. I bought two, one for a little devil that has managed to slip out of every other harness I've tried. So far so good with this one. I only have two complaints; the straps on the medium are really wide, thick and stiff for dogs weighing only 30 pounds. I couldn't go with the small due to their chest measurement of 23". The chest plate was not what I expected, it's hard. I'm hoping overtime it will conform to the dog thus becoming more comfortable. It described as EVA Foam chest plate molds to chest for a comfortable fit. Foam to me has give to it, still I highly recommend this harness especially for an escape artist!

A harness that works!

I ordered this for a dachshund mix at a shelter where I volunteer. She has managed to wriggle out of 5 different harnesses and upon recommendation from your staff, we tried this one. It works! Elsie is comfortable, and now safe on her walks!

It seems that there isn't a lot clothes or cool design clothes for larger dogs. My dog has a Chest/Girth of 27" and a neck of 17" but there are not enough options for the larger dogs.
