How To Measure Your Dog's Paws!
Proper footwear fit is essential to a fun day out (or in). Here's how to measure your pet's paws...
With your pet's paw on the ground, measure from the tip of the claws (those have to fit inside the shoe too) to the back of where the paw touches the ground, which is just behind the pad.
While your pet's paw is still on the ground, measure from side to side at the widest point of your pet's paw, which is usually near the base of the toes.
Handy Tip: Try having your pet step on a piece of paper, then trace around the paw. Then, while your pet is off eating your houseplants or terrorizing the neighborhood, you can measure the traced outline in peace.
How To Measure Your Dog!
I have worked with the finest furry tailors in the world, and am here to share my bounty of knowledge. Here's how to measure your pet...
Measure from the base of the tail (where it connects to the hindquarters) up to where the collar typically sits at the base of the neck, then follow up with a generous back scratch.
This is measured by giving your pet a
hug, during which you measure the entire circumference (all the way around) at the widest point of your pet's chest. This is typically right behind the front legs.
First, plenty of kisses. Then, measure the neck's circumference
(the distance around it) at the point where the collar sits.
Important Sizing Note: The given measurements are the dimensions of the actual product, not of the pet they fit. After measuring your pet, make sure all measurements fit within the following dimensions (with a little room to spare in the chest and neck).

Can attach to another leash of the same style for hands-free walks with two dogs!

Yes, Kelsey U recommends this product!
We LOVE this leash in our house! We have a whippet and whippet/terrier mix, so they must be leashed at all times, including runs, walks, or simply going outside in a non-fenced area. The things we like most about the RuffWear leash are: 1. Loop towards the bottom of the leash for holding the dog close when needed, such as on walks by busy roads or by other dogs 2. Comfortable around the waist or in-hand 3. Much sturdier clip for the dog's collar compared to what we saw at our local pet store 4. Non "bungee" style means we and our dog know exactly how much clearance there is on the leash. This is safer than the retractable-style leash, too 5.(BEST feature) Can connect this leash to another one of the same style! We bought in blue as well as orange, and you can simply attach the buckles to each other if you want to walk (or run!) hands-free. I was shocked this capability was not listed since many pet owners look for leashes for two dogs at once, and this one absolutely takes the cake!
