How To Measure Your Dog's Paws!
Proper footwear fit is essential to a fun day out (or in). Here's how to measure your pet's paws...
With your pet's paw on the ground, measure from the tip of the claws (those have to fit inside the shoe too) to the back of where the paw touches the ground, which is just behind the pad.
While your pet's paw is still on the ground, measure from side to side at the widest point of your pet's paw, which is usually near the base of the toes.
Handy Tip: Try having your pet step on a piece of paper, then trace around the paw. Then, while your pet is off eating your houseplants or terrorizing the neighborhood, you can measure the traced outline in peace.
How To Measure Your Dog!
I have worked with the finest furry tailors in the world, and am here to share my bounty of knowledge. Here's how to measure your pet...
Measure from the base of the tail (where it connects to the hindquarters) up to where the collar typically sits at the base of the neck, then follow up with a generous back scratch.
This is measured by giving your pet a
hug, during which you measure the entire circumference (all the way around) at the widest point of your pet's chest. This is typically right behind the front legs.
First, plenty of kisses. Then, measure the neck's circumference
(the distance around it) at the point where the collar sits.
Important Sizing Note: The given measurements are the dimensions of the actual product, not of the pet they fit. After measuring your pet, make sure all measurements fit within the following dimensions (with a little room to spare in the chest and neck).
Keep your pet feeling great without clumps using the Four Paws Magic Coat Total Body De-Matting Dog Grooming Tool for Fine & Medium Hair!
Easy to use
Stainless steel blades
Contoured and rubber comfort handle
Why We Love It:
The Four Paws Magic Coat Total Body De-Matting Tool for Fine & Medium Hair allows your dog to feel comfortable in his own skin—and coat—with the Four Paws Magic Coat Pro de-Matting Tool Total Body. Matted fur can make your pooch feel uncomfortable, because it pulls and tugs against the skin with every movement. Luckily, this tool works to quickly and gently comb through the hair, and detangles and de-mats with each swipe. It’s specially designed for full body grooming, which allows you to easily cover large areas like the back. Plus, the rubber handle makes it a breeze to grip, and with daily use, you can actually prevent new mats from ever forming.
I am overjoyed with the items I have ordered as gifts and for my own dog. The outfits have been very nice quality and the people I send them to seem t really enjoy them. This has become my go-to for pet clothing.
