How To Measure Your Dog's Paws!
Proper footwear fit is essential to a fun day out (or in). Here's how to measure your pet's paws...
With your pet's paw on the ground, measure from the tip of the claws (those have to fit inside the shoe too) to the back of where the paw touches the ground, which is just behind the pad.
While your pet's paw is still on the ground, measure from side to side at the widest point of your pet's paw, which is usually near the base of the toes.
Handy Tip: Try having your pet step on a piece of paper, then trace around the paw. Then, while your pet is off eating your houseplants or terrorizing the neighborhood, you can measure the traced outline in peace.
How To Measure Your Dog!
I have worked with the finest furry tailors in the world, and am here to share my bounty of knowledge. Here's how to measure your pet...
Measure from the base of the tail (where it connects to the hindquarters) up to where the collar typically sits at the base of the neck, then follow up with a generous back scratch.
This is measured by giving your pet a
hug, during which you measure the entire circumference (all the way around) at the widest point of your pet's chest. This is typically right behind the front legs.
First, plenty of kisses. Then, measure the neck's circumference
(the distance around it) at the point where the collar sits.
Important Sizing Note: The given measurements are the dimensions of the actual product, not of the pet they fit. After measuring your pet, make sure all measurements fit within the following dimensions (with a little room to spare in the chest and neck).

I shopped around a lot and bought this for my, 2 males, 19 lb. & 27 lb. dogs. All my dogs have the rain coats that look more like a cape with a hood and that works okay for light rain but when it is pouring out and windy this jump suit is awesome! It keeps them really dry and they can walk easily in it. They could even wear it in the snow, with a coat over it for warmth and boots, to prevent snow from matting in their leg's fur. It is super well made and thoughtfully designed, besides water proof. It takes a lot less time to dry everybody now and they look so CUTE! If you are on the fence between two sizes I would choose a size up because it will make it easier to put these on. Other wise I say they are true to the recommended sizes and measurements. I use these green in the back yard but if I walked near a street I would get the yellow for the high visibility to cars and safety.

I have a light khaki-green raincoat that I wear because it coordinates so perfectly with this one! [I swear, that's as 'crazy' as I get.] The green rain jumper has a longer-than-most back, handy zippered pocket, and ample leg coverage. The best part, I think, aside from the overall superior rain protection, is the quality net-lining that allows the dogs temperature to regulate. A flap over the leash slot is a welcomed detail, as is the reflective ribbon/tape spanning the coat width. The bungee neck cord makes the fit custom. Even if I don't keep the hood all the way up on my dog, it still keeps the back of her head, and neck, dry. That's what we want : ) Thank you, Dogo!

This jumpsuit is perfect for walks and bathroom breaks when it's rainy and drizzly outside. The size is true to fit on my toy poodle. And I love that he isn't soaking wet when we come in!
