Why We Love It:

The most interesting Hurtta Free Hand Dog Leash has a padded handgrip, adjustable in length depending on dog size. Especially designed for running and Nordic walking, the leash is also easy to use when pushing a stroller. Developments in ribbon thickness allowed the use of a simpler leash structure with improved durability and aesthetics.

The hand piece is very comfortable and feels quite secure. Takes a little bit to get used to not gripping as you would a standard leash. The quality of the leash is fantastic, it is adjustable so you can use it as a shorter traffic lead up to 5 feet. I do wish it was 6 feet as I am using this with one dog and walking two others on 6 foot leashes but other than that there are no complaints and it is typical top quality design and materials as expected from Hurtta.

I like most everything about this leash... Comfy hand grip, reflective striping, and very tough construction. The hand grip, however, is not a fixed opening, and slides up and down the leash. This seems like a good idea until you walk a dog that pulls...then the grip cinches down on your hand. I fixed the problem by tying a knot in the leash...doesn't look as nice but does the trick. This is a perfect leash for non-pullers or for dog joggers.
