How To Measure Your Dog's Paws!
Proper footwear fit is essential to a fun day out (or in). Here's how to measure your pet's paws...
With your pet's paw on the ground, measure from the tip of the claws (those have to fit inside the shoe too) to the back of where the paw touches the ground, which is just behind the pad.
While your pet's paw is still on the ground, measure from side to side at the widest point of your pet's paw, which is usually near the base of the toes.
Handy Tip: Try having your pet step on a piece of paper, then trace around the paw. Then, while your pet is off eating your houseplants or terrorizing the neighborhood, you can measure the traced outline in peace.
How To Measure Your Dog!
I have worked with the finest furry tailors in the world, and am here to share my bounty of knowledge. Here's how to measure your pet...
Measure from the base of the tail (where it connects to the hindquarters) up to where the collar typically sits at the base of the neck, then follow up with a generous back scratch.
This is measured by giving your pet a
hug, during which you measure the entire circumference (all the way around) at the widest point of your pet's chest. This is typically right behind the front legs.
First, plenty of kisses. Then, measure the neck's circumference
(the distance around it) at the point where the collar sits.
Important Sizing Note: The given measurements are the dimensions of the actual product, not of the pet they fit. After measuring your pet, make sure all measurements fit within the following dimensions (with a little room to spare in the chest and neck).
Keep your dog cool this summer while out on the trails or just around the home with the Kumfy Tailz Cools & Warms Mesh Dog Harness!
Every Kumfy Tailz includes a Kumfy Pax gel pack that can be heated and or cooled.
Kumfy Pax gel pack is non-toxic, reusable, and replaceable.
Neoprene material provides thermal properties including maintenance of heat and cold.
Why We Love It:
Kumfy Tailz has taken proven gel pack technology for humans and incorporated it into an apparel line for dogs. Every detail of our products has been designed and tested to ensure maximum comfort, and a good fit for any size dog. Not Just a Dog Harness! They've eliminated the Neoprene material and replaced it with a high-performance “sandwich” mesh in four colors: Red, Black, Pink, and Royal Blue. The “sandwich” is high-tech thermal insulating material that helps maintain the proper temperature. Longer thermal time. After exhaustive testing and reformulation, they've developed a custom Ultra Gel for Kumfy Pax. In conjunction with our new thermal insulation, the Kumfy Pax provides more than double the warming/cooling time of our first-generation product. A hi-tech thermal fabric in between layers of material in the Kumfy Pax pouch. Get your additional Kumfy Pax Dog Cooling and Heating Pack for backup each sold separately.
Important Sizing Note: The following measurements are the dimensions of the actual product, not of the pet they fit. After measuring your pet, make sure all measurements fit within the following dimensions (with a little room to spare in the chest and neck).

I purchased this for our 67 lb. male Australian Shepherd who is an inside dog; but here in VA we occasionally loose power in the summer time due to storms and that means no A/C!!! It worked great!!! I think it is really nicely made and he seemed comfortable wearing it inside. It is also adjustable. I keep it on hand with cool pack refills in the freezer for just such an emergency. I am even thinking of using it during car rides since the car A/C isn't enough in the back seat with several dogs and this will help keep him cooler. The pack can also be warmed but I have not tried it that way yet. I highly recommend to have it on hand for emergencies or use regularly. Especially since dogs can only perspire from their mouths and feet but not elsewhere. Super product!

I couldn't believe the Kumfy Tailz harness arrived literally the day before a massive cold storm, which prompted me to immediately test the harness' unique feature: the gel pack that warms in the microwave. The harness fits just fine under my dog's existing coats and there are several buckles to create a custom fit. One of my few complaints is that the D-ring for the leash is at the back of the harness, which might be good for the dog but doesn't line up with coat leash-hole. I clipped the leash to the ring located at the shoulder blades. My dog is sensitive to the cold and the warm gel pack + coat obviously helps because he is curious and keeps his tail high, whereas before, with his only coat, he spent 5 minutes outside and 10 minutes scolding after he got back in the house. The small fit my dog perfectly, who is 15-pounds and has a 19" chest. I am glad that I chose the harness over the coat offered by the same company because now I can use the harness as a cool pack in the summer.

Thank you for providing such a great service! My dog is 6lbs and needs to wear clothes in the winter, it would not be possible to dress her so warmly or fashionably if it was not for BaxterBoo!
