How To Measure Your Dog's Paws!
Proper footwear fit is essential to a fun day out (or in). Here's how to measure your pet's paws...
With your pet's paw on the ground, measure from the tip of the claws (those have to fit inside the shoe too) to the back of where the paw touches the ground, which is just behind the pad.
While your pet's paw is still on the ground, measure from side to side at the widest point of your pet's paw, which is usually near the base of the toes.
Handy Tip: Try having your pet step on a piece of paper, then trace around the paw. Then, while your pet is off eating your houseplants or terrorizing the neighborhood, you can measure the traced outline in peace.
How To Measure Your Dog!
I have worked with the finest furry tailors in the world, and am here to share my bounty of knowledge. Here's how to measure your pet...
Measure from the base of the tail (where it connects to the hindquarters) up to where the collar typically sits at the base of the neck, then follow up with a generous back scratch.
This is measured by giving your pet a
hug, during which you measure the entire circumference (all the way around) at the widest point of your pet's chest. This is typically right behind the front legs.
First, plenty of kisses. Then, measure the neck's circumference
(the distance around it) at the point where the collar sits.
Important Sizing Note: The given measurements are the dimensions of the actual product, not of the pet they fit. After measuring your pet, make sure all measurements fit within the following dimensions (with a little room to spare in the chest and neck).

These are perfect! They get the dogs foot up and off the cold ground. It is better than a rain bootie which has no lining or warmth. The two support straps, help the boot stay in place. Worth the money!

The boots are terrific, excellent fit, stay on and have a durable vibram sole. I love that they come up higher than other models, ensuring that they stay on and provide protection.

I was a little skeptical about paying the price of these boots since my dog has a tendency to destroy them if he don't like them. But I was amazed that my dog actually now sits there for me to put them on him. The first time he wasnt too sure but when he got outside with his polar trex boots on he went nuts. Now he will not go outside without them. Thanks Ruff wear for making such a good product

These are not just boots that someone thought would appeal to the over indulgent pet owner (thus increasing the manufacturers revenue). They ARE practical & necessary for protecting your pets pads from Winter frost, sharp rocks, toxic chemicals, unseen glass, etc.). They (Ruffwear) use the same workmanship & materials that are on high-end "Human Item's" while still taking into consideration the season it will be used in & overall comfort & safety for your pet. Their "Customer Service Department" is a walk through the past (they go out of their way to help anyway possible so their product is understood & utilized to its fullest potential). Their pride stems knowing that they are not just a representing working a line of pet products, but that they represent the overall "Best" products on the market. I'm on a fixed income, EVERY penny is accounted for & necessity is the key for ANY of my purchases. Ruffwear IS a necessity! Winter, Summer & Boot Socks proved there worth many times

They are a well made boot. Took a few tries to keep them on my dog but seem to fit well. Haven't tried them in the snow due to the lack of but are doing well on brick sidewalks. Would buy them again.

These boots are very nice. My dog has rear hind disability. He drags his back legs a lot. We put those boots on him to help him with his paws. He wears them well. He likes them a lot. And they last a long time. This is our second time ordering these boots. They're very durable. This is the first time ordering from Baxter boo. The service was very quick and efficient. We love ruffwear.

FINALLY! A boot that is true to the sizes shown! I can't believe how hard it's been to find a boot that measures to the right size, but this is it! These are extremely well made, and durable. We live in the Northeast so these are PERFECT for the many feet of snow we've recently had. They stay on and keep her feet dry. These are very high quality and very well made, cannot be beat. They always say, you get what you pay for but with BaxterBoo you can always find free shipping or a coupon code for discounted pricing, so these are WELL worth the investment.

These are made SO WELL!!! And SO SMART! Perfect materials for each functional part. I only wish they would make them for small dogs - paleeeeeeze! Size 2 is the smallest, but I think I probably need about 2 sizes smaller - my dog is 7 lbs. Aren't there more small dog owners than large? C'mon! We want these boots, too!
