How To Measure Your Dog's Paws!
Proper footwear fit is essential to a fun day out (or in). Here's how to measure your pet's paws...
With your pet's paw on the ground, measure from the tip of the claws (those have to fit inside the shoe too) to the back of where the paw touches the ground, which is just behind the pad.
While your pet's paw is still on the ground, measure from side to side at the widest point of your pet's paw, which is usually near the base of the toes.
Handy Tip: Try having your pet step on a piece of paper, then trace around the paw. Then, while your pet is off eating your houseplants or terrorizing the neighborhood, you can measure the traced outline in peace.
How To Measure Your Dog!
I have worked with the finest furry tailors in the world, and am here to share my bounty of knowledge. Here's how to measure your pet...
Measure from the base of the tail (where it connects to the hindquarters) up to where the collar typically sits at the base of the neck, then follow up with a generous back scratch.
This is measured by giving your pet a
hug, during which you measure the entire circumference (all the way around) at the widest point of your pet's chest. This is typically right behind the front legs.
First, plenty of kisses. Then, measure the neck's circumference
(the distance around it) at the point where the collar sits.
Important Sizing Note: The given measurements are the dimensions of the actual product, not of the pet they fit. After measuring your pet, make sure all measurements fit within the following dimensions (with a little room to spare in the chest and neck).

My Cher HATES the rain but we've found a raincoat helps to ease some of her sluggishness to go outside. We own this one for Cher and the Froggy raincoat for our chihuahua Jellybean and it's really well made and keeps them nice and dry. Love it!

I was torn between the frog and the shark.... I think we made a good choice! I got our 8 1/2 lb Chihuahua with a 14" chest a small. He is unusually long so although it could be longer for him, it still works. It is a bit snug when he is wearing a warm sweatshirt, it fits great with spring clothes or if it ever warms up that he can be naked and it will be perfect for keeping him dry! Hilariously cute!!

I secretly ordered this for my little one so I could put her in it then let her loose! Everyone died laughing. Not only is it awesome but totally functional as well. Just for sizing reference, my Maltese is 5lbs but is oddly long so I got a small based on the lengths provided in the description and due to the Velcro on the underside - it adjusts to her small size perfectly.
