How To Measure Your Dog's Paws!
Proper footwear fit is essential to a fun day out (or in). Here's how to measure your pet's paws...
With your pet's paw on the ground, measure from the tip of the claws (those have to fit inside the shoe too) to the back of where the paw touches the ground, which is just behind the pad.
While your pet's paw is still on the ground, measure from side to side at the widest point of your pet's paw, which is usually near the base of the toes.
Handy Tip: Try having your pet step on a piece of paper, then trace around the paw. Then, while your pet is off eating your houseplants or terrorizing the neighborhood, you can measure the traced outline in peace.
How To Measure Your Dog!
I have worked with the finest furry tailors in the world, and am here to share my bounty of knowledge. Here's how to measure your pet...
Measure from the base of the tail (where it connects to the hindquarters) up to where the collar typically sits at the base of the neck, then follow up with a generous back scratch.
This is measured by giving your pet a
hug, during which you measure the entire circumference (all the way around) at the widest point of your pet's chest. This is typically right behind the front legs.
First, plenty of kisses. Then, measure the neck's circumference
(the distance around it) at the point where the collar sits.
Important Sizing Note: The given measurements are the dimensions of the actual product, not of the pet they fit. After measuring your pet, make sure all measurements fit within the following dimensions (with a little room to spare in the chest and neck).
Your giant lug loves to shower you in hugs and kisses...and short hair doesn't seem to shed any less than long hair! The Short Hair FURminator for Giant Dogs can help you get rid of that unwanted hair in a way that is safe and gentle on your best friend's skin.
5" Short Hair Deshedding Edge.
Designed specifically for short-haired dogs!
Reduces shedding up to 90%.
Why We Love It:
Giant Dog Short Hair Deshedding Tool is guaranteed to reduce shedding better than any brush, rake, or comb. Recommended and used by veterinarians and professional groomers, there is simply no better anti-shedding brush for short-haired dogs. This groomer is specially designed by FURminator (sometimes misspelled as FURninator) to reach deep beneath the topcoat to gently remove undercoat and loose hair.
The FURminator removes undercoat and loose hair without sacrificing healthy top coat. The stainless steel edge of the Deshedding Tool doesn't cut hair; it just gently pulls out the fluffy undercoat, leaving the topcoat shiny and undamaged. The patented design helps stop shedding where it begins in the undercoat to dramatically reduce the mess and ease the clean-up of pet hair. The FURminator is ideal for pet allergy sufferers, as it greatly reduces the amount of dander and hair.
* Short Hair DeShedding Tools for Dogs are designed for coats shorter than 2 inches and are available in five breed sizes for best results.
Important Sizing Note: The following measurements are the dimensions of the actual product, not of the pet they fit. After measuring your pet, make sure all measurements fit within the following dimensions (with a little room to spare in the chest and neck).
