How To Measure Your Dog's Paws!
Proper footwear fit is essential to a fun day out (or in). Here's how to measure your pet's paws...
With your pet's paw on the ground, measure from the tip of the claws (those have to fit inside the shoe too) to the back of where the paw touches the ground, which is just behind the pad.
While your pet's paw is still on the ground, measure from side to side at the widest point of your pet's paw, which is usually near the base of the toes.
Handy Tip: Try having your pet step on a piece of paper, then trace around the paw. Then, while your pet is off eating your houseplants or terrorizing the neighborhood, you can measure the traced outline in peace.
How To Measure Your Dog!
I have worked with the finest furry tailors in the world, and am here to share my bounty of knowledge. Here's how to measure your pet...
Measure from the base of the tail (where it connects to the hindquarters) up to where the collar typically sits at the base of the neck, then follow up with a generous back scratch.
This is measured by giving your pet a
hug, during which you measure the entire circumference (all the way around) at the widest point of your pet's chest. This is typically right behind the front legs.
First, plenty of kisses. Then, measure the neck's circumference
(the distance around it) at the point where the collar sits.
Important Sizing Note: The given measurements are the dimensions of the actual product, not of the pet they fit. After measuring your pet, make sure all measurements fit within the following dimensions (with a little room to spare in the chest and neck).

The collar seems well made and I was pleased to have found the size I needed, but the rings are very small for the thickness of the collar and difficulty to work with so I am going to return it. It may be easier for others to use. I am used to a choke that slides easily on the rings.

This was perfect. The first one was to small and had to return a reorder different size. Very happy with the quality.

We have had this collar for many years. It has gone thru the wash many times. It was my everyday collar for years and worked well on a leash. The fabric quality is nice as are the rings. It works for a light or occasionally pulling dog for a momentary correction. I too prefer it to a choke chain. However the Easy Walk products are really nice at Baxterboo.
Good and durable

I used this collar on two of my own dogs- a Labrador and a Rottie X Pit mix, the collar did not show any wear after being on these large strong dogs. My friend loved the collar, and now has it for her Golden Retriever who is a bad puller on a regular collar. The collar works very well, and is a bit kinder than a chain choke collar.
