How To Measure Your Dog's Paws!
Proper footwear fit is essential to a fun day out (or in). Here's how to measure your pet's paws...
With your pet's paw on the ground, measure from the tip of the claws (those have to fit inside the shoe too) to the back of where the paw touches the ground, which is just behind the pad.
While your pet's paw is still on the ground, measure from side to side at the widest point of your pet's paw, which is usually near the base of the toes.
Handy Tip: Try having your pet step on a piece of paper, then trace around the paw. Then, while your pet is off eating your houseplants or terrorizing the neighborhood, you can measure the traced outline in peace.
How To Measure Your Dog!
I have worked with the finest furry tailors in the world, and am here to share my bounty of knowledge. Here's how to measure your pet...
Measure from the base of the tail (where it connects to the hindquarters) up to where the collar typically sits at the base of the neck, then follow up with a generous back scratch.
This is measured by giving your pet a
hug, during which you measure the entire circumference (all the way around) at the widest point of your pet's chest. This is typically right behind the front legs.
First, plenty of kisses. Then, measure the neck's circumference
(the distance around it) at the point where the collar sits.
Important Sizing Note: The given measurements are the dimensions of the actual product, not of the pet they fit. After measuring your pet, make sure all measurements fit within the following dimensions (with a little room to spare in the chest and neck).

Got this for my dog that is 9 lbs, 12" long from neck to base of tail so I ordered a Small. Fits well and I think he may fit a medium too but he tends to accidently step out of pants if they are to wide-legged but these zip-on pants are fitted so stayed on! Love the reflective stripes so I can remove the legs and use as a jacket the entire season.

Once again ---- after discussing my needs and choices with Tami --- She recommended this snow suit. We had previously purchased a beautiful coat from Baxterboo, but needed something for frigid weather (and Snow). This fit our needs and fit our "puppy" perfectly. THANK YOU!

This is a great snow suit. The material is good for wet conditions and it is well made. We are expecting snow this weekend and looking forward to trying this suit on tino.
Hood is useless
Posted On 12/14/16 by Seth C from Dillon, CO
One of the main reasons I bought this is because Stanley has thinning fur, including on the top of his head. He already has a variety of clothing. While the coverage with this snowsuit it's still more than anything else he has, I would not have bought it if it didn't have the hood. I'm going to keep it, but I'm pretty disappointed. Hopefully I can get someone who can sew to modify the hood so it can cover the head and still allow Stanley to see.
I'm selecting "would not recommend" because the hood is clearly advertised as if it is a benefit to the product.
Just not meant for a Doberman

Wonderful coat, but got the XXL and could barely velcro the chest. Lengthwise, it was perfect.. If I went higher in a size, my dobie would be swimming in it.
Looks and seems great

I love that my dog's front & back legs will stay dry, and that the back legs can be removed by zipper & not Velcro. I measured my dog incorrectly so I will be returning the small and ordering a medium.

When I received the snowsuit and opened the package, I liked the feel and look of the snowsuit. It seems to be well made and also appears that it would be a warm coat for any dog with short hair like Cups', my dog. I ordered the large for 20" backs because I thought the 24" x-large would be too big. When I laid the coat on Cups back, I found that the coat was actually 18' not the 20" it claimed, making the snowsuit too small for my dog. If you are looking for a good snowsuit, my suggestion is to order this a size larger than your dogs' measurements.
A little stiff!
Posted On 01/01/15 by Kathleen S from , NJ
This little snowsuit is cute and very visible if out walking at night, but I wish it was just a little softer. If you remember the movie "The Christmas Story" you might remember when the two boys went out to play in the snow and the little brother was so bundled up he could hardly move? Well, this is kind of the same. My dog walks funny when he wears it because it''s so stiff!

My love for Baxter boo is infamous!!!!! I tell all my friends with dogs and cats that this is the place for anything for your special friend. My suits are great, only they are a size too big and to small. Also they are kind of stiff for my boys .Will return coats. Seen 2 more coats to replace them. My loyalty will stay here! Nothing can change my feeling!!!! Keep up the good work. Not alot of companies that care about their customers and have a heart of gold!!! Animals will do that to you. Every time!!!! Greg Thompson. Peoples and Rudy and Sandy. Thank you guys!!!!!!

This four legged snowsuit is the best. Not only does it keep her whole body covered and warm but the bright orange makes it so cars and snow plows can see her easily at night on our walks.
