How To Measure Your Dog's Paws!
Proper footwear fit is essential to a fun day out (or in). Here's how to measure your pet's paws...
With your pet's paw on the ground, measure from the tip of the claws (those have to fit inside the shoe too) to the back of where the paw touches the ground, which is just behind the pad.
While your pet's paw is still on the ground, measure from side to side at the widest point of your pet's paw, which is usually near the base of the toes.
Handy Tip: Try having your pet step on a piece of paper, then trace around the paw. Then, while your pet is off eating your houseplants or terrorizing the neighborhood, you can measure the traced outline in peace.
How To Measure Your Dog!
I have worked with the finest furry tailors in the world, and am here to share my bounty of knowledge. Here's how to measure your pet...
Measure from the base of the tail (where it connects to the hindquarters) up to where the collar typically sits at the base of the neck, then follow up with a generous back scratch.
This is measured by giving your pet a
hug, during which you measure the entire circumference (all the way around) at the widest point of your pet's chest. This is typically right behind the front legs.
First, plenty of kisses. Then, measure the neck's circumference
(the distance around it) at the point where the collar sits.
Important Sizing Note: The given measurements are the dimensions of the actual product, not of the pet they fit. After measuring your pet, make sure all measurements fit within the following dimensions (with a little room to spare in the chest and neck).

Oliver is 8 pounds of mischief and loves to go for walks no matter how cold it is. He needed a winter suit to keep him warm. I bought and returned several until I found the Zippy suit on Baxterboo. The Zippy suit is completely adjustable with leg zippers to make it easy to put on any squirmy little dog. The suit has "pulls" that make the leg length and body length adjustable too! Now Oliver and his older "brother" go walking in any temperature (its 15 degrees here this morning). Thanks Zippy and Baxterboo for making/selling an all weather suit for tiny dogs.

My dog ?? is 13lbs and length from his neck to the tail is 14”, chest 17”, but i had to buy size 13s, even though it says it is only 12” from neck to tail. I had few tries before I got it right :). I love this body suit, it is warm, comfortable and my dog loves it too. I recommend it! :)

I LOVE this snowsuit! My dog Ollie is a Bichon/Shih Tzu mix and has short legs. This is the first suit that allows me to adjust the leg length, as well as across his body. The zippers at the bottom of each leg makes it so much easier to put on the garment. When unzipped, the additional material expands the opening for his legs, so they just slip right in. I also like the double zipper across the back because I don't catch his fur when I zip up the suit. It's made with a flexible fabric so it doesn't hinder his movement in any way. It has the best fit of any snow suit I've ever purchased for Ollie. I'm so glad I found this on Baxter Boo.
