Dogs Over 90 lbs: Start with the 90 lb serving and add 1/2 cup daily for every additional 20 lbs of body weight.

 

Adjust portions as needed based on your dog's age, activity level, metabolism, and body condition. Always provide access to fresh water.

Transition Instructions

Transitioning to Carna4: Gradually introduce Carna4 while reducing your dog’s current food. For dogs with sensitive stomachs, transition more slowly as needed. 

Rotational Feeding: Once your dog is fully transitioned to Carna4, you can rotate between Carna4 recipes to provide variety in proteins and whole-food nutrients. When introducing a new Carna4 recipe, gradually mix it with the current Carna4 formula if your dog is sensitive to dietary changes.

Flora4 Support: Carna4 recommends using Flora4 sprouted seed food topper during the transition to help support digestion. Add 1 tablespoon to each feeding during the transition period.

Kibble you can feel good about


recommended by dog trainer. lacks fillers thankfully. dog eats it up for meal time and as treats. we travel a lot with our dog and didn't want to worry about having to refrigerate her food. this works perfectly.

My pomeranians and maltese are loving this food..


My dogs i thought were eating good foos for them .. Nope they were not ... Then Carna4 they gobbled right up ..! And continue to love all flavors.. my maltese is,12 with CHF and Colitis. I am happy to report this food he is regular and doing do much better.. FOOD MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE..!

She likes the lamb better, but you were out. She eats it just fine, but she scratches a lot more when eating the Chicken.

Mixed review!


I say this is a mixed review because Baxterboo is AWESOME with fantastic customer service and is one of the few places I could find Carna4 in the US so they deserve 5 stars! The 4 stars is really for the food itself. I’ve done EXTENSIVE research on kibble and this was one of two that I decided were safe. It’s obviously not cheap and composed of real food ingredients as well as sourced responsibly, and I figured my dogs would gobble it up. Yeah, not so much. They eat it, but don’t seem to find much joy in it. I’ve had to add a topper from Farmers Dog and that did the trick, but for this price point, I hate having to do that. I wish it wasn’t so difficult to find healthy and safe kibble - for now I am going to keep feeding this and see if I can see a difference in their coats, bowel movements, etc and then will decide whether I want to keep purchasing. But Baxterboo as a company is great and feels like a real small business - so refreshing these days!
