Dogs Over 90 lbs: Add 1/4 cup of food per day for every additional 10 lbs of body weight.

 

Easy-Chew Tip: For puppies and older dogs with difficulty biting, add 1/4 cup of water to 1 cup of Carna4 and let stand for one minute to soften the nuggets.

Adjust portions based on your dog's age, size, breed, environment, and activity level. Carna4 notes that dogs may require 15–20% less food per day than with most other dry foods due to the food's nutrient density and digestibility. 

Transition Instructions

Transitioning to Carna4: Gradually introduce Carna4 while reducing your dog’s current food. For dogs with sensitive stomachs, transition more slowly as needed. 

Rotational Feeding: Once your dog is fully transitioned to Carna4, you can rotate between Carna4 recipes to provide variety in proteins and whole-food nutrients. When introducing a new Carna4 recipe, gradually mix it with the current Carna4 formula if your dog is sensitive to dietary changes.

Flora4 Support: Carna4 recommends using Flora4 sprouted seed food topper during the transition to help support digestion. Add 1 tablespoon to each feeding during the transition period.
