Nice looking carrier but a functional fail.


For the price, I am very disappointed. It looks great but the chain digs into my shoulders and one constantly falls. The side walls of the carrier are some sort of weak material that bends and creases, mine was creased on one side right out of the box, perhaps from packing it, which remains visible and causes a droop. You can see what I mean even in the advertised photos, one side of mine flared out, the other side flares in. When my dog is in the carrier it starts to collapse inwards towards him from the chain handles pull. If the architecture of the bag's interior was sturdier, it would maintain it's shape better. The designer should consider rounding the edges, instead of being square at either side of the opening, this would limit the amount of material getting in my dog's face. Good for special events or quick trips but it's an impractical carrier in my opinion and not worth the cost, though it is really nice looking and is plush, with good outer material (preventing me from giving it 1 star), it just fails in execution. For the record, my dog is 12.5 pounds, might be better for under 10 pound dogs.
