It fits a little tighter than I expected. But honestly I have never bought one item that fits Daisy perfectly. She's an awkward shaped dog but the XL fits as well as anything I have ever bought her (she's 40lb lab-dachshund mix). My only complaint about the sweater itself is that the very bottom (gray portion) is rolled up most of the time but otherwise it is adorable. The scarf attaches by Velcro and manages to stay on pretty well, the real test will be when she wears it throughout this winter, good to go for now though!
