Shiba dislikes coats & was attempting to boycott this one with each successive walk, like he did several years ago with a rain coat. Well, I pretended to ignore his bowed head & look of humiliation. It worked, he was able to walk farther & tolerate winter better. The coat looks a bit big because he had lost some weight & I hadn't adjusted it yet. Love the ease of putting it on & security of him staying put on our walks. If your pup has a large head or doesn't like something snug on their face during the clothing process, you might want a different neck style.

It’s a great quality coat! I love that it has an adjustable strap around the middle and fits perfect around my dogs neck. The blue is a nice color also.

So well made! And it is great looking! My pup uses it in the rain and stays nice and dry. When it is cool out this coat also keeps him warm! Great buy!

The coat is a very nice design and seems like nice materials, but the size runs large (I know, not the usual problem) except for the neck, which is small compared to the size of the rest of the garment. If you have a dog with a larger head proportionally to its body (for example a French Bulldog) this is not the right coat for you, because the neck has no give. I ended up cutting the neck open and hand sewing the edges so that my dog's head would fit rather than exchange it again

Good coat -- a little big, but very adjustable

Marcie only weighs 9.5 pounds and is a long, skinny puppy (doxie mix), so we had to improvise to get the strap to go small enough. I think she likes this coat better than other coats because it has no Velcro (which scares her) and also the arm holes allow her to have more free movement than in coats with sleeves. It's the most adjustable coat I could find, so it does fit as well as we could hope.

Great Coat for Furry Dog

I have a Pomeranian & Corgi mix and she's very fury. Coats with Velcro were difficult as her fur was constantly getting caught in the Velcro and it would not stay fastened during walks. This coat is perfect!! No Velcro and it fastens on the top of her back. So easy!

A Warm Winter Jacket For Our Jack!

Jack is the first dog our family has ever had, we got him from the OSPCA (Humane Society kinda place in Canada). We want him to have the best of everything (within reason) after everything he's gone through! This winter is supposed to be brutal one, but this coat has stood up well though many dog park romps, freezing rain, and kept him warm!

Sizing has been a huge challenge...I had initially ordered a 3XL from a different online retailer, which was HUGE. It should have fit well based on the sizing chart. I ordered this in an XL from here...good, but a 2XL would be best. I would recommend ordering based on back length, as the coat tucks under the chest, and buckles on top of the back (and is super adjustable!

PROS: Warm Outershell is water-proof, durable, easy to clean The plaid/solid colour combo in Royal Blue is masculine The black fleece layer inside is warm and soft He loves it so much, he wants to keep it on! He struts!

CONS: None

Get it! You'll both love it! I'm reordering!

The winter dog coats we order from Baxter boo are worth every penny! Our Molly dog hates wearing a coat and has literally chewed or destroyed every coat we have ever bought her except the Baxterboo coats we bought her!

The coats fit extremely well and are warm and water resistant!

Cute, but no D-ring.

I'm returning this item. It's really cute on my dog, but a little too big. I would re-order in a smaller size but decided not to. The description says there is a D-ring, but there wasn't. There is a little flap up by the neck that has a hole under it to slip the leash through, but she would need a harness or I would have to turn the collar around. I just like the convenience of the D-ring - easier to walk her if she's clipped on top:)
