Fifty-Fifty


Small harness doesn't mean you'll use a small brush guard chest protector. In other words, size matching is 50/50. Quality is good though, adds a little bulk under the dog's chest.

Brush Guard Dog Chest Protector by RuffWear


I bought this to match with the RuffWear Web Master Dog Harness. The whole setup works really well. There is no strain put on my dog's stomach or chest when I use the harness to lift her up. It fits exceptionally well on my dog. There are adjustable straps in order to select just the right fit. My dog is 48 pounds. The only issue I had was with the chest protector fitting to the harness. Both are sized medium and from the same company so I assumed it would be seamless. It isn't by about an inch. However, it does not effect the fit on the dog. I am very happy with this purchase.

Needed the help


I had previously purchased the rough wear help up harness for My dog suffering from DM and found I needed more stability in lifting him so I ordered the brush guard and am very pleased with the results it provides the extra security and more evenly distributed his weight allowing for a easier and more comfortable lift For both of us. I would recommend this and the company who offered a discount on my purchase as well As fast shipping. I'm very pleased.

Perfect


I was so excited when I found this, you have to get the harness that goes with it, or it will not work, but that is alright, the harness seems to be nice. We are going to use this for tracking and hope that it will protect his belly from getting all scratched up. I have a basset hound and he is kind of low to the ground. He loves tracking but his belly is all scratched up when I check him out when we get home. Fingers crossed this does the trick. we are going to try it out this weekend.

Didn't work for my Dog


I have a Great Dane and he fits in the L/XL webmaster I bought this for extra protection but it caused his under arms to rub so much that he got a rash... Then that became a hotspot costing me a pretty penny in vet bills. Air with caution for large breeds.
