Keepin it cool

I bought this for my mini dachshund that has a black coat. She is super sensitive to the heat and has even had an episode of syncope (fainting) due to her sensitivity. This shirt has really been life changing for my dog. It keeps her extra cool at the park while sheâs enjoying her favorite activity: FETCH!!! I soak it in a bag of ice water, put it in a cooler and then put it on at the park when itâs starting to get warm. Once the shirt has dried, I take it off and dip it back in the bag of ice water to cool her down again. Iâve had this well over a year, I wash it on cold water in the washing machine and hang it to dry. It is still in great shape! Iâm so thankful I found this shirt that enables my dog to live her best life!

For sizing reference, my dog is about 8lbs, 13â girth, 14â long

The Perfect Little Shirt

This is the shirt every little doggie should have in his/her wardrobe. It is not too heavy not too light. Can be worn as I will do with my Cavalier on those warmer winter melt down muddy days to keep the fur clean, on a cool spring or fall day/evening when a winter coat is just too much, or in the hot summer sun to keep him from getting his little dark back toasted. What more could you ask for?

Great for warm days outside

The sun shield dog shirts are great. I have a small dog and her hair is thin so this is perfect for her to wear outside as she loves to lay in the hot sun. I have two and will buy more as we get closer to summer. Also very comfortable for her to wear indoors on cool days.
