How To Measure Your Dog's Paws!
Proper footwear fit is essential to a fun day out (or in). Here's how to measure your pet's paws...
With your pet's paw on the ground, measure from the tip of the claws (those have to fit inside the shoe too) to the back of where the paw touches the ground, which is just behind the pad.
While your pet's paw is still on the ground, measure from side to side at the widest point of your pet's paw, which is usually near the base of the toes.
Handy Tip: Try having your pet step on a piece of paper, then trace around the paw. Then, while your pet is off eating your houseplants or terrorizing the neighborhood, you can measure the traced outline in peace.
How To Measure Your Dog!
I have worked with the finest furry tailors in the world, and am here to share my bounty of knowledge. Here's how to measure your pet...
Measure from the base of the tail (where it connects to the hindquarters) up to where the collar typically sits at the base of the neck, then follow up with a generous back scratch.
This is measured by giving your pet a
hug, during which you measure the entire circumference (all the way around) at the widest point of your pet's chest. This is typically right behind the front legs.
First, plenty of kisses. Then, measure the neck's circumference
(the distance around it) at the point where the collar sits.
Important Sizing Note: The given measurements are the dimensions of the actual product, not of the pet they fit. After measuring your pet, make sure all measurements fit within the following dimensions (with a little room to spare in the chest and neck).

I bought two of these for my smaller dogs, they are so cute and I love the way you can change the toy for them. You can also hide treats inside it once the duck has hatched.

The item was slightly smaller than expected; however, the rest of the toy is as expected. I haven't had a chance to give the toys to the dogs to see how durable they are.

This is a well made dog toy. It is very challenging for my dog to try and get the bird out of the egg. He enjoys the challenge and likes to carry it around. There is one squeaker in the egg. It is 7 inches long as described and I purchased it for my smaller dog. My large dog likes small toys better than big ones; so it is well suited for any breed since it is well made. This is one of 3 Hatchables we have purchased and so far we like them all and recommend them.
