This dog seatbelt strap connector works perfectly with heavy duty harnesses (such as our American River Choke-Free and Wrap & Snap Choke-Free Harnesses, sold separately.)

Having your pet tethered with our car leash and paired with a choke-free harness is the safest combination for your dog. In the event of a sudden stop, any pulling pressure will be distributed over the chest and not the neck or trachea. 

Not only will this safety combination help protect your pet from trauma, it will also make sure your pet is unable to escape the scene of an accident or jump out of the car windows. Numerous dogs are lost and/or injured annually because they aren't safely confined in their vehicles. 

The Doggie Design Seatbelt Strap Leash features an easy seatbelt connector that fits most vehicles. The other end has a heavy duty swivel clip that easily attaches to harnesses. We do not recommend attaching the Seatbelt Strap to a collar as a sudden stop could injure your pet's neck.

The woven durable polyester webbing is 1-inch wide and adjusts from 13 inches to 23.5 inches to adjust the amount of roaming you want to allow for your dog.
