Other side effects may also occur. Talk to your veterinarian about any side effect that seems unusual or bothersome to your pet.

Usage

Cautions

For otic use only. Do not use in dogs with suspected or known allergies to miconazole nitrate, polmyxin B sulfate, or prednisolone acetate. Do not use in dogs with a perforated ear drum. Do not use with drugs known to cause ear damage. Safe use has not been proven in pregnant, nursing, or breeding dogs. Avoid using other ear medications unless instructed to by your veterinarian. Talk to your veterinarian before using any other prescription or over the counter medicines, including vitamins, minerals, and herbal products. Discontinue use if hearing loss is noted during treatment. If overgrowth of non-susceptible bacteria or fungi occurs, treatment should be discontinued and appropriate therapy established. Using beyond the recommended dose of 7 days may result in delayed wound healing.

Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform VetSource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching.
